Welcome to Rental

What Rental is, the core concepts behind it, and where to go next.

Rental is the simplest way to rent out the things you own. One place for listings, bookings, and payouts — no group chats, spreadsheets, or awkward payment chasing.

This guide covers the three ideas everything else builds on.

The rental loop

Listings

A listing is anything you're willing to rent out: a camera, a pressure washer, a paddleboard, a trailer. Each listing has its own photos, pricing, and availability calendar. Publish it once and it stays live until you take it down.

Bookings

Renters send booking requests for the dates they want. You approve or decline, and Rental tracks the whole lifecycle — from request to pickup to return — so nothing falls through the cracks.

Payouts

When a rental completes, the payout lands in your bank account automatically. Rental holds the renter's payment for the duration of the rental, so you never hand over your gear before the money is secured.

Where to go next

Tip: You can list as many items as you like on every plan. Start with one, learn the rhythm, then scale up.
